The game is inspired by the classic game Lemmings developed by Psygnosis and released inThe objective of the game is to save cavemen from walking aimlessly to their death or around in circles by assigning specific skill sets to create a new path and help guide them to the designated exit. The game offers eight different skill sets, including CLIMBER, FLOATER, EXPLODER, BLOCKER, BUILDER, BASHER, MINER, and DIGGER.
Caveman HD (Lemmings way) has four difficulty levels: easy, medium, obscure, and insane, with 120 levels and hidden bonus levels.
